90 Works, a local nonprofit, brings a new event concept to the Landing at Fort Walton Beach. Twilight in White, which was inspired by the white parties popping up around the world, is set for Sunday, August 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
“We’re thrilled to be able to add such an exciting new concept to the Landing,” said Anthony Sawyer, the Director of Outreach for 90Works. “It’s going to be an event like no one at the Landing has seen before.”
With attendees donning their best coastal white attire, the evening features the musical stylings of the Moos Brothers, a raffle, and a photo booth from 30A Life Photography as well as a VIP experience that includes decor from The Gate House and an exclusive lounge area. General admission guests are encouraged to bring white decor for their tables to compete in the table decorating contest, and local vendors will be on-site for food and beverage purchases.
“We’ve put a lot of work into making sure this event is a blast,” said Sawyer. “And, it’s all going towards an incredible cause.”
General admission tickets, which include a welcome bag, are 30 dollars, and VIP tickets are 60 dollars, allow you to reserve your seat in advance and include a welcome bag, two drink tickets, heavy hors d'oeuvres and access to the VIP lounge. A discount is available when reserving an eight-person table and allows general admission tickets the opportunity to reserve seating in advance.
Funds from Twilight in White will go directly towards funding 90Works’s Project90 Impact program, which has a 90 percent success rate helping vulnerable populations in crisis become self-sufficient and stable in 90 days.
"Project90 Impact changed my life,” said a participant of the program. “I was living in my car, and now, I work full time with a good paying job and afford my house and other bills. I am so grateful.”
