Voting for Best in the Emerald Coast coming to a close July 15

Each year, Emerald Coast Magazine celebrates more than 100 businesses along the Emerald Coast that have been singled out by readers of the magazine as the best of the best. By now, magazine subscribers should have received the June/July issue of Emerald Coast Magazine where they will find a unique code allowing readers to vote for the businesses they think are the “best” on the Emerald Coast.  Readers are encouraged to take the code and visit www.emeraldcoastmagazine.com/best-of-the-emerald-coast/ to submit votes by Mon., July 15. There are 180 categories ranging from plumbers to pizzarias, caterers and child-care providers, to haberdashers and hair stylists. In addition to the locked categories that require the code, there are several new categories open to everyone that only require an email address.  “We were excited to make the voting process completely digital this year and can’t wait to hear what our readers think about the online voting process,” said Mackenzie Little of Rowland Publishing. “We feel this updated method of voting will entice more readers to give their favorite Emerald Coast businesses the recognition they deserve!”  After July 15, votes will be tallied and confirmed by the Carr Riggs and Ingram CPAs & Advisors in Miramar Beach. Winners will be notified near the end of the summer and announced in the October/November 2019 issue of Emerald Coast Magazine. The community is invited to join Emerald Coast Magazine and The Junior League of the Emerald Coast on October 19, 2019  for an evening of celebration at Grand Boulevard.  This year marks the 20th anniversary of the event, which benefits Junior League of the Emerald Coast. It will be a night of food, fashion and fun, full of samples and giveaways from the best restaurants, shops and businesses on the Emerald Coast. Come enjoy an evening of community and experience what makes this year’s winners stand out among the crowd. “This fundraising event makes a direct impact on the lives of under-privilaged children” said Bethany Worley, president of the Junior League of the Emerald Coast. “Thanks to Emerald Coast Magazine and the support of event participants, JLEC is able to provide a new wardrobe for hundreds of students in Okaloosa and Walton Counties each year.” Tickets are available on 850Tix. VIP tickets are $100 and General Admission tickets are $40.
